We chose each of these areas because they represent guaranteed results to a quality classroom. To make things exciting and doable, each section comes with wirtten tests, classroom practice, and measured set of actionable challenges that you can use today in your classroom!

Graduate Certificates + Letter Of Recommendation

We will award successful graduates of our program a Teacher’s Certificate along with a letter of recommendation. Graduates will also be eligible for employment at YTTL OP. Only graduates who show mastery will be eligible to graduate.

Payment

This program requires a firm commitment for the entire upcoming school year. Accepted candidates into the program will receive payment for their internship responsibilities and commitment to training.

Course Instructors:

Rabbi Yaacov Sebbag PRINCIPAL

Rabbi Yaacov Sebbag brings with him an impressively broad educational background, having previously served as teacher, principal and curriculum developer at Darchai Menachem for many years. Rabbi Sebbag has undergone extensive training and has received certification in areas of special education, curriculum development and classroom behavior management. As principal, Rabbi Sebbag is responsible for leading the academic staff and setting the tone of the school’s educational vision.

Rabbi Shmuli Turk ASSISTANT PRINCIPAL

Rabbi Shmuli Turk has served as Program Director, Assistant Principal, and classroom teacher in Lubavitcher Yeshiva for 11 years, in addition to his extensive experience as coordinator of various summer camps. He brings with him an excitement for education and a passion for extracurricular programming, and imbues his work with Chassidishe Varemkeit. Rabbi Turk oversees the school’s extra-curricular programs and activities, as well as assist the teaching staff in monitoring student’s academic growth and classroom behavior.

Rabbi Yossi Rosenblum

Rabbi Rosenblum has over 28 years experience in the field of Jewish education. As a student emissary of the Chabad movement (shaliach), he helped to establish Yeshiva Tomchei Tmimim Lubavitch  in Johannesburg, South Africa.  He also served as head counselor of Camp Gan Israel, in Parksville, NY. In 1992, Rabbi Rosenblum, joined the staff at Yeshiva Achie Timmim in Pittsburgh, PA. Two years later, he became Principal of the Boys Division. While serving as principal, the Yeshiva was recognized as a Blue Ribbon School of Excellence by the U.S. Department of Education. Rabbi Rosenblum is an innovative educator and administrator. In 1994, he founded the International Sefer HaMitzvos Competition and authored the Sefer HaMitsvos booklets used by 40 schools as part of their curriculum. He also worked with leading educators and scholars on the ground-breaking Gemara Berura teaching methodology. As part of this effort, Rabbi Rosenblum was responsible for developing the workbook on hascholas gemora. This unique workbook helped teachers fulfill the words of Sholomo Hamelech to “teach a child according to his way” using advanced techniques such as Differentiated Instruction (DI) and Understanding by Design (UBD). Rabbi Rosenblum has lectured on these techniques and the Gemara Berura all over the country.Â
